Mpowered Journey LLC (“Mpowered Journey,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

4. Event Photography, Video & Audio Consent

Mpowered Journey, or photographers and production professionals acting on our behalf, may photograph, film, or record portions of our workshops, events, and programs. These photographs and recordings may capture attendees’ images, likenesses, and voices.

By registering for a Mpowered Journey workshop, event, or program where this media notice is presented as part of registration and accepted by you, you grant Mpowered Journey permission to photograph, film, and record you during the event and to use your image, likeness, and voice for the purposes described in this section, without compensation, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These purposes may include documenting our events and creating educational, marketing, and promotional materials. Content may appear on our website, social media, email communications, digital advertising, printed materials, presentations, and other Mpowered Journey communications.

Photographs and recordings may be reasonably edited or excerpted for these purposes, provided they are not used in a misleading manner or to falsely suggest a personal endorsement.

If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please contact annsheu@mpoweredjourney.com before the event and notify our team upon arrival. We will coordinate reasonable accommodations and communicate your preference to our event photography or production team.

If you later have concerns about an image or recording in which you appear, please contact us. We will review your request and take reasonable steps where feasible. We may be unable to retrieve printed materials already distributed or remove copies shared by third parties.

We obtain separate permission before using recorded testimonials or featuring participants’ personal stories in promotional materials. General event media consent does not authorize publication of private coaching conversations, confidential participant disclosures, or completed personal worksheets.

For identifiable photographs or recordings of minors, we obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before promotional use. An adult registering for an event does not grant consent on behalf of another adult attendee; each adult must provide their own agreement.

Where applicable law requires additional or separate consent, we will obtain that consent before the relevant recording or use.

5. Email Communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter or other email communications, we may send you educational content, updates, announcements, and promotional information.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those communications.

6. SMS and Text Messaging

Mpowered Journey may send text messages to individuals who have expressly opted in to receive them.

Depending on the consent provided, messages may include:
